The Hillman City Neighborhood Association is an all-volunteer group focused on building a thriving, inclusive neighborhood through advocacy, community events, and local partnership. Our mission is to develop and realize a common vision for Hillman City’s economic, physical, and social-cultural development. HNCA prioritizes community safety and infrastructure, economic development for local businesses and showcasing all Hillman City has to offer.
HCNA has a full calendar of events including twice yearly community clean-ups, a candidate forum in the fall, the Hillman city holiday market featuring our local businesses and more. Our largest event is What’s Good: The Hillman City Block Party. This event held annually in August brings over 3,000 visitors to Hillman City. From live music and food, to kids’ games and local art, to late-night dance parties, WHAT’S GOOD welcomes everyone to experience the vibrant, joyful energy of this small but mighty neighborhood in South Seattle.
